To discover Callelongue, at the Sounth end of Marseille, here is a virtual tour of Callelongue’s semaphore.
It is located at the top of the hill and separates Callelongue from Riou Archipelago.
It gives a beautiful viewpoint on the islands.
Built in 1864, it remained in a state of ruin for a long time, as in these photos.
Rehabilitated by the Calanques National Park, it now serves as a public reception area for raising awareness of the environment of the calanques.
