Forest fire danger level
- Green, Yellow ou Orange: Allowed to enter all day
- Red: Forbidden to enter (even by sea), circulate or be in the forest all day
Permanent restrictions
- Smoke or light a fire
- Wild camping, bivouac or trailers
- Make noise (also to sea)
- Walk your dog without a leash
- Disturb and feed land animals (Birds, wild boars, etc.)
- Throw trash
- Travel outside marked tracks and paths
- Pick up, take or introduce any animal or vegetable species (outside picking plants for a cooking or family medicinal use)
- Use of a motorized vehicle outside the open roads
- Parking beside the road (outside of the reserved spots)
- Fly a drone in the National Park

For more information on how to get to the forests of the Bouches du Rhône, the department created a vocal server at 0811 20 13 13 (fees: 0,06€/min) and a mobile app named « myProvence Envie de balade ». They are updated on a daily basis, until 6pm for the day after. Depending on the weather, forest fire danger level will allow you know when it is allowed to enter the many forests in the department.
