Walking trail to get to the viewpoint of Sugiton

This walk trail is just unmistakable! The track from Luminy allows to access quickly to the viewpoint of Sugiton, named "la Tour d'Orient" (The Oriental Tower). The viewpoint is situated at 250m of altitude with an orientation table. On the one hand, the calanque of Sugiton, the Puget massif and the Grande Candelle (Big Candle). The coast goes to the Bec de l'Aigle (Eagle's beak / La Ciotat) and far away the Embiez island. On the other hand, Sugiton, the Cap Morgiou and a bird's eye view on the calanque of Morgiou. What more ?!

  • Distance / Duration: Le belvédère de Sugiton est à 2,3km (~25min) de Luminy.
    Pour le retour, prendre le même chemin en sens inverse.
  • Starting point: Luminy
    Il y a une fontaine d'eau potable avant la barrière.
  • Difficulty level: Easy hike, very frequented.
    In case of strong wind, hold tight and cover yourself ;)

  • Take the large track beside the school of art and architecture and follow the path until the col of Sugiton. At the col, turn on the right and continue to get the viewpoint a bit further.
