Hiking trail between Luminy and the calanque de Sugiton

The track to get to the calanque de Sugiton starts from Luminy campus. The path passes by the col de Sugiton. You can get off the track for a few minutes just to take a quick walk at the viewpoint with a beautiful view on the calanque de Morgiou. The descent to Sugiton starts with a small path then continues on a concrete road with a strong inclination. At the last high curve, you discover the calanque de Sugiton with its two creeks and the Torpilleur small island.

Route from Luminy to Sugiton

  • Take the large track (blue line path) next to the school of architecture and follow it to the col de Sugiton. At the col, go slightly right on the red dotted line path that goes down through the rocks and a few trees. The path quickly joins the concrete rod and cuts a last curve. Follow the concrete road to the last curve that gives a beautiful view on the calanque. 100 meters further, take the red dotted marked path on the right (it is not concrete any more), and finish the descent to the creeks of Sugiton.
