Located at the southern tip of Marseille, Cap Croisette marks the spectacular border between the city and the Calanques National Park. With its crystal-clear waters, breathtaking views of Maïre Island, and an 'end-of-the-world' vibe, It’s an absolute must for those who love the great outdoors.
What to do at Cap Croisette?
Cap Croisette offers an authentic, "edge-of-the-world" experience, far from the hustle and bustle of Marseille's city center. While the site is home to a diving club and a restaurant, its main draw remains its spectacular panorama, with Maïre Island rising just 70 meters from the shore, creating a striking mineral landscape. On days when the sea is calm, the strait separating the cape from the island becomes a true maritime ballet. It is frequently used by pleasure boaters, local fishermen, and Calanques tour boats, which take this narrow passage to save time and enjoy the site's beauty rather than sailing around the island. Important : To preserve the National Park's exceptional ecosystem, please note that, as with most of the islands in the Calanques National Park, access to Maïre Island and the Tiboulen de Maïre islet is strictly forbidden.-
