Pomègues and Ratonneau (Frioul Islands)

Ratonneau is the easiest to get to and has the biggest beaches and calanques. Pomègues has lovely creeks.

Pomègues and Ratonneau island were connected in 1822 by a big wall, that created Frioul port. The port can have 1500 boats and spaces for boats passing through. There are a few restaurant bars on the banks, houses and a lot of boats as cabins.

How to get there

  • Starting Point: Vieux Port
  • Route: From the Vieux Port, take a shuttle for the Frioul Islands. It takes 30 minutes. Adult price for round trip: 11 euros. (Tickets are to be taken directly at the ticket office next to the pier)
