Niolon is a small sheltered calanque on the Blue Coast that has charm. It features a peaceful harbor that blends well with the landscape, residential buildings, and a small, intimate beach. A viewpoint above the harbor provides a wide view of the Marseille bay and the Frioul archipelago.
A little away from the main road, you will need to park in the few available spaces before the railway and complete the journey on foot towards the calanque. It is a favored spot by scuba diving clubs. There are a few restaurants where you can savor local specialties of fish and fresh seafood.
The hiking trail located below the train station connects the calanque of Méjean, passing through the small calanque of Joncquier and the beautiful calanque of l'Erevine.
