Figuerolles is a small steep-sided calanque, with wonderful colors. Like in the Mugel, we can find these particular rocks plunging into turquoise waters.
Many film makers and artists, like Braque, have been attracted to this landscape. In the summertime, you can still find some artists painting it. Going down, you can find a small restaurant halfway. The patio is an outstanding viewpoint on the calanque. You can also find a small hotel and bungalows. Whether you swim there, or have dinner, or for a week-end, it will be a really exotic vacation. Five minutes away by car, there is a path on the hill that takes you to a viewpoint on the calanque and go up to Notre Dame de la Garde chapelle.
